Cader Idris Fell Race
On Saturday 27th May three of the club travelled to Dolgellau for the annual fell race to the summit (2927ft) of Cader Idris, approx. 10.5miles. This was a new race to us all on unfamiliar ground. There was light rain for most of the run and the cloud level was low, but route finding was not a problem with a field of 209 runners.
Glenn finished 59th in 1:57:26, Sandy 115th in 2:05:54 and Helen 188th in 2:29:04. Helen managed to get 2 prizes, a spot prize as she crossed the line and 1st LV50.
