Bells of Pattingham, Suicide Six, Cross country league & training notice.

Hi there,
Two very popular races are fast appoaching: The Bells of Pattingham and the Suicide Six. Details and application forms from:
This Sunday 24th September, some of us are doing a recce of the Wrekin Wrecker course. Meet at the bottom of the Wrekin carpark at 9:00am. The run is about 8 miles and involves 2 and a half ascents of the Wrekin.
As we mentioned in the September newsletter, we would like to enter a team in this years' North Wales Cross country league. We thought this league would be best as paradoxically, it would involve less travel than any of the midland leagues. The races are:
Cross Country Dates:
30th September Colwyn Bay
21st October Telford
25th November Bangor
20th January Wrexham
10th February Oswestry
Each event has different races and everyone we enter for each category counts towards our teams overall points. The races/ categories are:
u17 men starts 2:00pm
all womens and over 70's men starts 2:05pm
all other men starts at 2:45pm
So far we have eight members who have expressed an interest. The first six home from each team counts so ideally, it would be better to have around a dozen in the team.
If you are interested, you don't have to run every race. But could you let me know asap if you can run on the first race in Colwyn Bay at the end of the month? I'm sure we could sort out shared transport.
Best wishes, Glenn
Get lit up!! Starting 27th September
As we are now getting into the darker nights, don’t forget to dig out a reflective jacket/bib and maybe some flashy armbands and lightweight headtorch.
